Aged Applewood is one of the most popular of the fruit woods used in smoking. Not only does Yakima-Applewood Smoked salt offer a distinct and delicious flavor, but it also uses high-quality aged Applewood to create a taste that's popular among smokers.
The Applewood flavour pairs beautifully with pork, making it ideal for rubs and blends. The flakes dissolve nicely into the meat and add a wonderful sweet and smoky flavour.
Smoked salts pair wonderfully with any tomato based dishes such as lasagna, spaghetti and roasted tomatoes. Sprinkle on before, during or after cooking to add a wonderfully smoky flavour to any dish.
