Returns, exchanges, and refunds

Returns

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the original packaging. There must also be the majority of product still on the bottle. If you taste the product and you are not satisfied, then we will accept a return. If you finish half the bottle and then decide to return, unfortunately we can not offer you a return or exchange.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. 

Exchanges

If you request an exchange, your replacement product will be shipped to you once your returned item is received. If you request an item of lesser value you will be refunded the difference. If you request an item of greater value you will be asked to pay the difference.


Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. 
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a reasonable amount of days. If you have not received your refund within 30 of receiving your approval email, please contact us at info@thesaltcellar.ca. 


Shipping 
To return your product, you should mail your product to:

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you request an exchange, the new product will be shipped to you at our expense.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. 

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
